Twitter Brand Update

Twitter launched their new brand guidelines and updated their bird icon, and their brand color. This will be a tiny review, mainly because their is not much to critique: In my opinion it’s sharper, it reduces it better and without the logotype its generally better looking.  It reminds me of the leap Nike took when they introduced the ‘Just Do it.’ campaign and having just the swoosh. In my opinion, Twitter grew up. What do you think? decent update? BTW the video explaining the angles of the feathers and icons is nice, but the concept of using the Golden Ratio and the Fibonacci Spiral for every wing just seems overkill for making a bird icon. But its not just a bird icon, its the twitter brand icon, and it does reduce well. I guess Twitter has to say thank you to ancient mathematicians.
