To create a new identity and signage system for “Eatonville,” a restaurant that represents part of the African American civil rights movement.
We researched the history of the famous African-American author Zora Neale Hurston, who put Eatonville, FL on the map. We created an identity that captured her unique style to complete this restaurant branding signage system. Over the course of several weeks we researched and found imagery and styles connected to Zora and the time period and visual information about Eatonville, Florida. We used this to put together a comprehensive texture and exterior signage system.
Elephantik provided the brand identity design, brand style guide and provided a conceptual restaurant signage system mock-up & design ( which they followed ) for their D.C. storefront.
