Challenge

In early 2011, Elephantik was asked to create the brand identity and the branding system for for Ana Mollinedo Mim’s consultancy business named Apropósito.

Solution

We worked with Ana on naming her business but ultimately Ana herself came up with the best possible concept for her consultancies new name. We assisted her in purchasing the domain A-Proposito.com with the tagline “your brand intentionally communicated.” The meaning behind the brand name in Spanish means ‘on purpose’,’about’, and ‘by the way’ depending upon the context it is used in. Now visually we designed an icon that communicated Ana’s businesses intentions which were to give direction to her clients. So we looked at symbols such as the compose rose, and then symbols connected to tapestry’s and cathedral glass windows. Based upon this research we created a brand icon that is both proud, eye catching, and visually directing like a sun-flower.

Execution

We provided a unique brand identity design, business cards, simple style guideline, letterhead template, power point presentation template, and a simple website with a back end CMS.
